Let’s talk about the good things that happen in 2011 first. 

- I’ve got the chance to travel twice this year to thailand and china guang zhou. It’s huge to me cause it’s my first plane trip ever and I’m not rich. Getting to fly to other countries is big to me. Learning other countries culture and traveling really widen my knowledge. Honestly, I want more!

- I must be the luckiest person on earth. I own the cutest lovebird in my world. I love her so much and I hope she can live long. Can’t imagine the pain I’ve to go through if anything happens to her.

- I’ve got a internship at a graphics company and really explore myself in the graphics world. Not gaining much but I liked it somehow.

- During the past 8 months, I get to self-learn to play ukulele and guitar. Since then, music has been part of my life and I LOVED IT!

- Although I don’t have a huge birthday this year or in fact not really celebrate much, but I have all my wonderful friends and family together with me and the present I received was so much appreciated!

- I finally have a breakthrough in my studies. The 3 years in my polytechnic, I was not recognized at all. I always thought I do not have the ability to design. My work has NEVER been showcase at anywhere before. Finally for my final year project, I did pretty well and I’m proud of myself. Submitting my work for a competition is huge to me. Winning doesn’t matter because I’m already happy now.

- I’ve got the chance to own a jack russell for about 2 months. I’ve always wanted to have a dog. Now I’ve got the chance to experience what it feels like. But its really expensive to own a dog.

- I’ve find that I’ve grown more matured now in terms of dealing with people. And I’m glad I did.

Now for the bad things that happen in 2011:

- Well, mainly my unhappiness came from the people around me. People gossiping I can’t stop. But you let me find out what you said and I’m like really? If you are unhappy with me, tell me in my face. Don’t go behind my back and start whispering. That is just coward of you. I’m not gonna elaborate much because this will turn into a ranting post.

So now you see the huge difference. THINGS make me happy, HUMAN make me sick. But I am pretty satisfied of what 2011 is giving me. And I’m a person who believed in karma. So 2012 might not be a good year to me I guess? Fingers cross and hope for the good!

I’ve arrived guang zhou on the 5th sept to PanYu Polytechnic. The polytechnic is located somewhere in the forest. HAHAHA! I’m like living in the olden days. Walk like a mini great wall of china. The food here is not bad. But some are just horrible. Toilet condition is the worst. Currently 1 week into Guang Zhou already. No facebook access, no twitter, no youtube. GOODNESS!! Lucky there’s a crack but for only 10 mins usage everyday. Shopping wise, awesome. Cheap, bargain, buy.

Will update again. This is a rush post.

The truth now is, for my FDA, I have not even start doing yet. *clap people clap*

And for my studio?? Well, not that great either.

I should really start doing some serious work and not be bothered by useless stuff like how mean people are.. blah blah blah..

WHEN PEOPLE ASKED YOU SOMETHING, I THINK IT’S BASIC MANNER TO REPLY ESPECIALLY WHEN THE PERSON IS OFFERING HELP. LOOKING UP AT THE PERSON AND BACK TO DOING YOUR OWN STUFF IS NOT REPLYING.

2nd:

STOP TALKING ABOUT BEING UNITED TO MAKE YOURSELF FEEL BETTER WHEN YOU KNOW IT’S NOT. QUESTIONING ABOUT OTHER PEOPLE’S UNITY? WHY NOT QUESTION OURSELF FIRST.

The outside of the restaurant looked really posh and nice. But inside you have fans that spoil the whole image. I’m not talking about those really nice ceiling fans okay. Is like those domestic rotating fan.

Let’s talk about their dinner. Basically it was awesome except for the soup of the day which taste terrible. LIKE REALLY TERRIBLE!

Cream of potato. Looks are deceiving. It taste really awful. The bread was nice though.

Then came the starter. Me, chevy and lina had the best peppery calamari ever!

and Jiawei had smoked salmon. I tried a little, it was not bad.

We then had our main course which I’ll give 3.5/5 points. Lina and I had their grilled salmon steak with mashed potato.

I don’t know how the hell the mash potato is green. BUT! It taste freaking awesome. Maybe it was mashed with spinach or something. I clean out the entire plate of mashed potato like for real.

Chevy and Jiawei had stuffed chicken (I’ve forget the name of the dish)

I had a bit of it too. The chicken was soft and full of flavour. Nice dish.

So coming to the end, is the long awaits dessert! Lina ordered poached pear. It comes with a scoop of chocolate ice cream.

It taste very normal. Like the pear is being poached in a sugar and cinnamon sauce. 2/5 points

The rest of us had BANANA DUMPLING!

Oh man.. I miss this banana dumpling. I’m going to make it myself because it’s super easy to make. YUMMY!

And lastly, the people!

Am I encouraging people to be homeless by giving them a place to stay comfortably only if they do good things for the environment?

How do I help the homeless to get back into society with a product?

I think I’m really not a good designer.
